Chebarbartiko Shop – Returns & Refund Policy

At Chebarbartiko Shop, we value your satisfaction. If your delivered product is defective, damaged, incomplete, or different from what you ordered, we’re here to make it right. Please review our return and refund guidelines below to ensure a smooth process.


1. Reporting an Issue

If the product delivered to you has missing accessories, is defective, damaged, different from your order, or incomplete, please notify Chebarbartiko Shop on the same day of delivery.

Timely reporting allows us to process your return or replacement quickly and fairly.


2. Eligibility for Returns

Returns will be accepted only if:

  • The product is returned in its original condition,

  • The product box, tags, manuals, and all accessories are included, and

  • The item remains unused and in a sealed package.

If the seal or packaging has been tampered with, the return may not be accepted.


3. Replacement & Refund Process

  • If you request a replacement and the seller has stock of the same item, we will dispatch a replacement product.

  • If the seller does not have the same product available, Chebarbartiko Shop will initiate a refund to your original payment method.

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 working days after inspection and approval.


4. Shipping Charges

  • If your product was defective, damaged, or incorrect, shipping charges will be refunded along with the product amount.

  • However, if the product is returned for any other reason (e.g., change of mind, wrong size, or customer error), shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • In all cases, refunds will be made only after the returned item has been inspected and approved by our team.


5. Items Not Eligible for Return

Please note that the following items cannot be returned or replaced:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, beverages).

  • Personal use items such as undergarments or cosmetics.

  • Digital or downloadable products.

  • Items marked “non-returnable” on the product page.


6. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return or refund request:

  1. Log in to your Chebarbartiko Shop account.

  2. Go to My Orders → Return Item.

  3. Select the reason for return and upload a photo (if required).

  4. Our support team will review your request and guide you through the process.

7. Refund Timeline

After your product has been received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be initiated within 7–14 business days.

  • The amount will be credited to your original payment method (e.g., M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Visa, or Mastercard).


8. Fair Use Policy

We monitor return activity for abuse. Repeated or fraudulent return requests may lead to account suspension or restrictions under Chebarbartiko Shop’s Fair Use Policy.


9. Legal Compliance

This policy follows the Kenya Consumer Protection Act (2012) and the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019) to ensure fair trade, customer rights, and data privacy.
